Ki Noh Bi“15th Edition” – Noh Mask “Yase Otoko”

As part of the Cask Aged series, The Kyoto Distillery’ iconic Gin brand, will be releasing its 15^th Edition soon.

This time Karuizawa and Japanese Mizunara casks will age this series with only 800 bottles to be bottled, and 48% vol. It will be available for sale mainly at DFS Masters of Wines and Spirits.

TASTING NOTES by KI NOH BI

Soft and slightly sweet notes of salted caramel, vanilla and cacao rippled with desiccated coconut and oaky wood spice on the nose.
On the palate rich oak, spicy dried ginger and candied citrus with a hint of Christmas spices such as clove, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Long oaky finish with hints of eucalypts, cereal and candied ginger.

ABOUT THE LABEL

The label continues the tradition of Number One Drinks Company bottling a series of single cask Japanese whiskies in collaboration with the Kamiasobi Noh Troupe.

ABOUT CASK AGED

KI NOH BI is a cask aged version of our classic KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin. Filled into cask at a high strength, the gin is carefully monitored by our distilling team during the maturation process to ensure the optimum balance between botanical flavours and influence from the wood. They then review the final liquid, making minor adjustments using the 6 Elements to maintain the overall harmony. KI NOH BI is bottled after dilution with Fushimi water.
