Orion Beer Co., Ltd. – Naha, Okinawa – is launching a the limited-edition of their chuhai “WATTA Lemon” from their famous WATTA series, this follows similar strategies to start exposing their products into supermarkets in retails shops prior the summer months, so customers can start familiarising with their new products, we have seen this strategy by Oenon Group in the recent rebranding launch of Tokyo Highball.
Orion Beer’s first canned Chuhai “WATTA” was first released in 2019, and has become very popular with locals and visitors in the island. I’s a brand that lets you feel the pleasure and joy of discovering the charm of this paradise island.
The chuhai “WATTA Lemon” uses a rare Okinawa prefecture-only lemon extract from local lemon farmers. To make it more excited and limited, the addition of Shikuwasa, the prefectural soul citrus fruit, adds a deep flavour with freshness and a sense of pure juice. With just a 5% ABV, it is sure to be a popular choice for the hotter summer months, with two sizes available (350ml/500ml) and it will be ready to hit the supermarkets and ships end of March.
Orion was established by Sosei Gushiken in 1957 and has been primarly brewing beer, with an even more refreshing taste, a new draft beer was born in the summer of 2015, the same year draft beer celebrated its 55th birthday.
