Due to Coronavirus, some Sake events have had to cancel throughout Japan and around the world, this time though, Kubota introduces a new online way to keep its followers engaged.

Asahi Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. and brand owners of Kubota Sake Brand – Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture – have announced that the annual event “Kura Festival 2020 in Asahiyama” has cancelled due to the effect of a new coronavirus widespread, however instead it will be held online on YouTube Live on Saturday, April 18, 2020.

At the “Online Kura Fest 2020”, brewers and brewers will appear, giving virtual tours of the Sake brewery facilities and introducing the newly versions of “Manju” and “Chiju”, launched 1st of April. In addition, they will also play off the sake brewing song originally planned at the event.

Suggestions by the brewery is getting on hold if you can of any Kubota sake available in your cities online and grab some snacks at home and enjoy while enjoying the sake brewery feeling.

Asahi Sake Brewery Co., Ltd has been recently innovating in keeping people up to date with Sake and making hard efforts to keep bringing new people to discover Sake, such as the recent joint venture Sake Bar in Shibuya’s New Parco building.
