Since 1990 (Heisei 2), the sake festival has been held every year as a citizen's festival on the south side of JR Saijo Station. As a festival where people of all ages, men and women of all ages, and those who don't drink alcohol can enjoy various cultural activities related to alcohol, and play a part in fostering local culture and revitalizing the region, which bears the name of the sake capital.
